BBQ Spiced Lamb Chops
Background
Lamb chops are perfect for summer barbecues or parties as they are so quick and easy to cook! Furthermore they can be marinated hours before the event, making them a super easy element of a gathering. These BBQ Spiced Lamb chops are marinated in classic British flavours mixed with a hint of Middle Eastern spices. The result is really tasty and unique. Serve them with grilled veggies, flatbread or a mash.
Ingredients
- 8 lamb chops
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp chilli flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
- 1 tbsp chopped rosemary leaves
- 1 garlic clove, minced or ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp freshly Ground pepper
- Sea salt
Instructions
- Mix the lemon juice, cumin, olive oil, mint, rosemary, garlic & pepper in a bowl.
- Put the lamb in a shallow dish or freezer bag and pour over the mixture. Cover each chop well with the mixture. Marinate for minimum 30 minutes (ideally 4 hours or even overnight) in the fridge.
- Heat you BBQ or griddle pan. Take the lamb out of the fridge and season with salt. Grill the chops for 2-5 minutes on each side to your liking.
- Serve warm with side dishes of your choice.
