Background
If you're after a super-easy, delicious and relatively healthy dessert or treat, try this blueberry compote with yogurt which has a melted sugar topping resembling crème brûlée.
Ingredients
- 100g blueberry
- 1tsp honey
- 100g Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp dark muscovado sugar
Instructions
- Rinse the blueberries, put them in a saucepan with the honey. Bring to the boil and cook gently until the blueberries soften and the juices start to run.
- Whip the yoghurt into a creamy constancy.
- Divide the compote between two small bowls, or mini glasses. Spoon the yoghurt over the blueberries, then sprinkle the top with sugar. The sugar will melt on the yogurt, giving the impression of being caramelized.
- Chill before serving.
