Roasted cauliflower steak

Background
You can make this roasted cauliflower steak in the oven or in an air fryer. Serve it with couscous or rice salad for a plant-based meal or as a side dish with roasted chicken or lamb.
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Β½ tsp smoked paprika
- Β½ tsp cumin powder
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp ground pepper
- Β½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200Β°C (400F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the cauliflower into 4 slices, about 2cm thick, and place them on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.
- Brush the cauliflower steaks with the oil mixture on both sides.
- Roast the cauliflower steaks in the oven forΒ 15 minutes, then flip them over and roast them for another 10 minutes or so until tender and golden brown.
- Air fryer method:Β put one or two cauliflower steaks in the basket, set it to βroastβ for 15-20 minutes. Turn them over half-way through.
