Shiitake Mushroom Bake

Background
If you're a fungiphile like me you'll just love this Shiitake Mushroom Bake! It's remarkably easy to make but so very tasty and versatile. You can serve it as a starter, a side dish or a snack at any time of day.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Sherry Vinegar
- 50 ml Water
- 100g Fresh Shiitake Mushrooms
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Thyme
- ½ teaspoon Chilli Flakes
- Sea Salt
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Clean any dirt for the mushrooms with a damp kitchen towel.
- Pour the vinegar and water into an oven-proof dish, then put in the mushrooms.
- Sprinkle the other ingredients over the mushrooms. Season to taste, then cover with cooking foil and put in the oven.
- After 15 minutes, take off the foil and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Bon appétit!
