Easy BBQ Sirloin Steak
Background
Last weekend we had another BBQ. I had a particularly nicely matured sirloin steak and wanted a marinade that would enhance the flavour without overpowering it. My recent
Easy BBQ Beef Steak marinade was very successful & tasty so I almost went for it but then decided to create this Easy BBQ Sirloin Steak marinade properly to do justice to this lovely cut of beef.
Ingredients
- 1 large sirloin steak
- For the marinade:
- 2 Tbsps light soy sauce
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 Tbsps Worcester sauce
- 2 Tbsps balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Mix the marinade ingredients together in a bowl then put them into a medium plastic freezer bag (or similar).
- Put the steaks in the bag and massage the marinade into it.
- Leave the bag in the fridge as long as you can - preferably a couple of hours.
- Cook to your liking on the BBQ.
