Background

This is a dry vegetable recipe made with a few spices which is famous in the state of Punjab. It is a very simple and easy recipe to make.

Ingredients

3 Medium capsicum, diced
3 Medium potatoes, peeled and diced
½ tsp Turmeric
½ tsp Red chilli powder
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Dry mango powder
2 Tbsp Oil
Salt as required

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and add the potatoes for frying.
Once the potatoes are half cooked, add the capsicum.
Saute both the veggies on low flame.
Add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt and mix.
Fry the vegetables in low flame without lid for 2-3 minutes.
Now cover the pan with a lid and cook until the vegetables soft.
Add garam masala and dry mango powder and mix.
Serve hot with rotis.
