Garlic bread with tomato and asparagus

Background
This garlic bread with tomato and asparagus is made with ciabatta. You could serve this on the side of soups, stews, omelette or for an easy lunch with a crispy salad.
Ingredients
- 1 ciabatta loaf
- 125g asparagus tips
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp soft butter or dairy-free spread
- About 12 baby tomatoes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cut the ciabatta in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 3 pieces.
- Mix the garlic with the butter and spread this over the cut side of the bread.
- Put them on a baking tray.
- Cut the tomatoes in half, the asparagus into 2cm pieces.
- Arrange these on top of the buttered bread, then season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or put them under the grill for about 5 minutes.
