Honey and Sunflower Bread
Background
Another delicious loaf from my trusty bread machine! If you haven't got one yet I really recommend you buy one asap because you can make so many interesting things - not just bread! With the timer set this Honey and Sunflower Bread filled our home with the lovely aroma of freshly baked bread - warm & ready in time for breakfast. Or take it round to a friend as a nice present.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Yeast
- 250g Strong Wholemeal Flour (Canadian is perfect)
- 250g Strong White Flour (Canadian's good)
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 25 ml Olive Oil
- 1¼ tsp Salt
- 340 ml Water
- 4 Tbsp Sunflower Seeds
Instructions
- Put the ingredients (except the sunflower seeds) into the bread machine pan in the order above (or as per manufacturer's instructions).
- Choose the appropriate setting e.g. (for a Panasonic) Large Whole wheat Raisin 5hr Menu
- Put the sunflower seeds into the automatic dispenser - or add manually at the time stated for your brand.
- If you wish, set the timer to be ready for breakfast!
Tips
If you don't need it to be dairy free you can use 25g of butter instead of olive oil.Categories
