Dosa is a very famous breakfast in South India. This dosa can be cooked instantly which doesn't need any fermentation and it also tastes very yummy. The preparation is best suited on a day of leisure as it takes a while to make them.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Semolina
- 1 cup Plain flour
- 1 cup Rice flour
- 1 Tbsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Green chilli (chopped)
- Salt as required
- Water as required
- Oil as required
Instructions
- Mix all the flours and salt together.
- Add the water and make a very thin batter. The consistency should be that of water.
- Add the cumin seeds and green chilli.
- Heat a pancake pan. Mix the batter thoroughly every time while taking the scoop to make the dosa.
- Just sprinkle this watery batter all throughout the pan without touching the pan. Twirl the pan around to spread the batter.
- Drizzle the dosa with little bit oil so that it doesn't stick to the pan.
- Let it get cooked until brown and the edges start lifting up by itself.
- When it is fully cooked, just take it out from the pan and serve hot with a chutney.
