Indian style mangetout and potato

Background
I was rummaging through my refrigerator for any vegetables to cook and found some mangetout and potatoes. I just had to do with these vegetables and thought of combining them in an easy way. I ended up with a very tasty dish which goes well with steamed rice or roti.
Ingredients
- 150g Mangetout, washed and cut
- 2 Medium potatoes, peeled, washed and cubed
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 Tomato, chopped
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- Salt as required
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
Instructions
- In a pan, heat the oil and add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the onion, tomato, mange touts and potato and cook under lid until soft.
- Add turmeric and salt and stir.
- Serve hot.
