Background
This Masala Fried Fish recipe is simple and very tasty dish. There are many variations for frying a fish in Indian style, this one is my personal favourite.
Ingredients
- 2 Fresh water fish (Cut into small pieces) or Whole fish
- 1 cup Pearl onions (Small onions)
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 Tbsp Coriander powder
- 1" Ginger
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- Salt as required
- Oil as required
Instructions
- Grind together onions, pepper and coriander powder.
- Mix turmeric, chilli powder and salt to the ground mixture.
- Apply this mixture to the fish and marinate the fish for atleast one hour or more.
- In a pan, heat sufficient oil and add the fish and fry until soft.
- Serve hot.
