Roast Honey and Mustard Pork

Sunday Lunch can be so much more than just another meal - it's an opportunity for family and friends to get together for what is an occasion but without the fuss and formality of a dinner party or the stress and anxiety of, for example, Christmas. ThisΒ Honey and Mustard Roast Pork is just the thing for this happy tradition because it's pretty quick and easy to create yet looks, smells and tastes just great!
Ingredients
- 1 kg boneless pork leg
- For the Glaze: 3 Tbsps honey
- 2 Tbsps English mustard
- 1 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 Tbsps cider vinegar
- seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180Β°C
- Combine together the glaze ingredients in a bowl.
- Put the pork joint into a small roasting tin and spoon the mixture all over it.
- Place in the centre of your oven and roast for about 1ΒΌ hours. Baste occasionally with the juices.
- Serve with roast potatoes and the green vegetables of your choice.
Tips
You can easily make a delicious gravy by stirring 2 Tbsp of cornflour into the roasting pan juices. Then, over a medium flame on the hob, gradually add the water used to cook your vegetables and bring to the boil constantly stirring with a wooden spoon.Categories
