Spiced Maple BBQ Ribs
Background
Men generally seem to love tending the barbecue even if they're not that into other cooking chores. This sweet & sour Spiced Maple BBQ Ribs marinade is just the thing for laid-back BBQ parties - particularly if said men are well provided with beer to slake their thirst as they do their thing! Serve with coleslaw, salsa and potato salad.
Ingredients
- A rack of pork ribs
- Marinade: 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Β½ tsp chilli flakes
- 1 Tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp worcester sauce
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180Β°C.
- Mix together all the marinade ingredients in a small pan. Bring to a simmer over a medium heat stirring frequently.
- Put the ribs into a suitably sized baking tray. Season both sides of the rib rack and pour over the sauce.
- Cook in the oven for about an hour, turning occasionally. Finish off both sides on the BBQ for about 5 minutes.
