Background

It's hard to beat waking in the morning to the smell of freshly baked bread! Even better if your bread machine does it all for you and produces a wonderfully light and fluffy loaf like this Simple Ciabatta. If you measure the ingredients carefully it rises perfectly.

Ingredients

1 tsp Yeast
500g Strong White Flour
1 tsp Sugar
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Salt
310 ml Water

Instructions

Put the ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order above (or as per manufacturer's instructions).
Pick Italian bread setting (around 4½ hrs).
If cooking overnight add suitable delay.
