Background
Cauliflower is considered one of the healthiest vegetable as it contains phytochemicals and anti-inflammatories. Cauliflower stir fry is a simple recipe and can be eaten with roti or paratha. This dish is made with few spices, I usually prefer to add spices which are very basic.
Ingredients
- 1 medium size cauliflower cut into florets
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ΒΌ tsp cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of turmeric powder
Instructions
- Take the florets and blanch them in water for few minutes and strain them to remove water.
- Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves and cauliflower florets. Mix well.
- Cook the cauliflower for 10 mins by stirring in between.
- Add turmeric, red chilli, cumin, coriander powders and salt.
- Cook for another 5 minutes on low flame.
- Remove from the flame and transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
