Indian beans and carrot fry
Background
Beans and carrot combined together give a great taste. This recipe is very simple and easy to make and also is very healthy. I make this almost once a week and it is a family favourite. It goes well with steamed rice or roti.
Ingredients
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 200g French beans (chopped)
- 100g Carrot (chopped)
- Salt as required
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Chilli powder (Optional)
Instructions
- In a deep bottomed vessel, heat oil and add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the chopped onions, chopped beans and chopped carrot to it and fry them until they are cooked.
- Add the required salt and chilli powder (optional) and mix.
- Serve hot.
