Background
It only takes a couple of minutes to make this tasty spread that's perfect on party nibbles, picnic snacks, school sandwiches and so on.
Ingredients
- 100g smoked salmon
- 50g natural cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 sprig onion (chopped)
- 2 tsp dill or chives
- Ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small food processor blend all the ingredients until you get a creamy or textured paste.
- If possible, allow to rest for an hour or two in the refrigerator before using.
- Serve on crackers, oatcakes, blini, crostini or toast. You can also use this paté to create elegant canapés.
