Background
Spinach with garlic & chilli is a quick and easy side dish that goes well with fried or barbecued meat. I make this for family get-togethers.
Ingredients
- 250g spinach
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
- Few pinches of chilli flakes
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Blanch the spinach in boiling water for a minute, then drain. Squeeze the water out.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the garlic and gently fry until light brown. Add the chilli (to your liking) and the spinach. Season with salt and pepper. Let it warm through, then turn off the heat and serve.
